Fire Department

Mission Statement:

The Coyle Fire Department is committed to providing the highest level of public safety services for our community and citizens.  We protect lives and property through fire suppression, emergency medical response, fire prevention and public education.

Vision Statement:

We shall endeavor to be mentally and physically prepared to take bold and aggressive action in the execution of our mission.

Background:

Our current Fire Chief is Charles Downey.  He has served with the Fire Department since 1993.  Currently the Department is made up of 15 volunteers.

Today:

We have 14 apparatuses that serve 127 square miles split between Logan and Payne counties.  We average around 300 calls a year which include fire, rescue and medical.  We have a great relationship with the neighboring Fire Departmens in Logan County as well as the departments in Payne County.

Training is a big part of the Fire service. We will continue to train as well as adapt to changes to be the best we can be in all aspects of the Fire service for the citizens in our Fire District.
